John (Jack) Stilwell

Board Member

John “Jack” Stilwell has extensive senior leadership, consulting and board experience with large multinational mining companies. Jack retired in 2013 from Drummond Company, Inc. (DCI) as executive vice president, chief financial officer and board member. DCI was one of the largest privately owned companies in the U.S. with mining and oil & gas operations/projects in the Southeastern United States and Colombia, high-end residential developments in multiple states along with numerous other business investments. Prior to joining DCI Jack was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Hecla Mining Company, an NYSE company with operations throughout the Americas, including Nevada. 

Jack formerly served on the Keck Medicine of USC leadership board and is the past president and board member of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation – Nevada. He earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Southern California and was a practicing CPA for over three decades. He is a member of several organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Keystone Corporation, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Red Rock Country Club, and Hayden Lake Country Club 

Jack and his wife Jill have been married for more than 40 years and are the proud parents of William and Lindsay and the doting grandparents of Grayson Stilwell.
